MULTI-PURPOSE CLEANER

As much as we want to, sometimes we cannot avoid leaving stains of any kind on the surfaces of the house. Floors, furniture, appliances... anything can be a victim of dirt. So, here are the ingredients to create your own multi-purpose cleaner:

The main components are going to be white vinegar and water, to this we can add essential oils, a few sprigs of rosemary or lemon peels in order to get a good smell.

As a tip, try not to use this cleaner on wood and stone surfaces, since vinegar, in large quantities, is not recommended for these materials.

ORGANIC CLEANING PRODUCTS TO CLEAN FLOORS

In this case it is necessary to take into account what type of floor we have:

  • Terrazzo or ceramic floors, add 1 cup of white vinegar to 4 liters of water.

  • Parquet, dilute 1 tablespoon of potassium soap in 5 liters of water and then pass a dry mop.

GLASS CLEANER

As you will be able to read, white vinegar and water are the main ingredients of most of the mixtures that we are going to explain you and in the case of the window cleaners it could not be less.

In a bottle we mix water, white vinegar, alcohol and we give a touch of scent with essential oils or citrus zest.

In this case, it is important that the cleaning is done with newspaper, both when the product is applied and when the surface dries.

AIR FRESHENER

It is very easy to make a homemade air freshener and here are two recipes:

  • In 1 liter of water boil 1 sliced lemon, vanilla and 1 branch of rosemary. Once cold, strain and fill the sprayer. You will enjoy a refreshing and natural aroma.

  • Place a mixture of baking soda or white vinegar with a touch of lemon in small bowls around your house, it will help eliminate unpleasant odors.

ANTI-LIMESCALE

To remove limescale from the faucet, we recommend that you insert half a lemon in the faucet spout and let it act.

If it is to remove it from the faucet, put a few drops of lemon on a cotton swab and wipe everything. Wait 1 hour before rinsing.

For the tiles that are in contact with lime, you can make a mixture of vinegar and water in equal parts.

CARPET

If the stains are grease, try sprinkling baking soda, but if they are very resistant, use corn flour.
